Natural Gas

 

    Roger Giddens, Buster Felton, Bruce Burgess, Matt Brower, and Leon Keagle are the people that maintain the natural gas system, and read all the gas and water meters on a monthly basis. The duties of the meter readers are the actual annual reading of 32,000 meters, and the monthly re-reads, cut-offs and cut-ons. The goal of the Natural Gas Department is to provide economical, clean, dependable and safe heating and cooking fuel to the city’s customers.
