Ashburn City Council Meeting Thursda, December 5, 2013 6:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor James, Hedges; City Manager, Ben Taylor; Council members, Artie Eld, Algenard Bryant, Sandra Lumpkin, James Hall, Tommy Bateman. Absent: City Attorney, Tommy Coleman. Guests: Ben Baker, Illya Copeland, Officer Michael Welch, Brandon Montgomery, Odis and Grace Reese
City Manager Ben Taylor presented a slide presentation on the new water tower, the well construction completion date, and the Main Street Start-Up Program.
Brandon Montgomery, auditor for Herring CPA Group, presented the audit report for year beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013.
Illya Copeland, Community Development Director for The City of Ashburn, updated the Council on The Main Street Start-Up Program and how the program works. Motion was made by council member Eld, second by council member Bateman to approve the minutes of the November 7th, 2013 Council Meeting. Ayes: Bateman, Hall, Bryant, Lumpkin, Eld
